Squirrels have long been a source of amusement in gardens - but their antics are less appreciated by birds that can be deprived of food by this rapacious scavenger.

Once a squirrel has found a well-stocked feeder or birdtable it will return repeatedly. Worse still, squirrel attacks can leave unprotected feeders damaged beyond repair.

The guards shown here are suitable for use with most feeders.
